THis has never happened to me before......
I always hear about people getitng ill after doing heavy squats...
well tonight, i hit 495 X3 for the first time which i was pretty proud of...20 minutes later, i was on my way out..
i drink my shake, with only a bit of it left i was feeling queezy, i said F it and i just down the rest of it...big mistake
im waiting for the bus on my Uni campus, surrounded by about 25 other students..
well, I just start puking my guts out everywhere, i hurled about 10 times, the whole bus terminal smelled like extreme stomach acid...everyone was looking at me like WTF
I felt like an animal, i love it.

Doesn't the saying go "Squat till you puke."
I've never had that, but know at least a dozen people who have had that happen to them. Don't worry, it's quite common.

Lol! You are clearly the animal! That's a nice squat though. Do you go full with that? I always feel kind of sick while (and after) squatting. I get sick even before I get to the gym on legs day. I even get nervous projectile diarhea in anticipation of the pain and the general clowdy headedness of legs, in particular, squatting. I hate to admit this but one day I just didn't have the courage to do legs. I switched it up and did arms with the hope that I'd be a bigger man the next day. Sometimes you gotta time the manliness (you can't expect to be a warrior everyday!)....I'm considering smelling salts to clear the groggy head. We used to do this back in the day (mid to late 80's) after watching some powerlifters using it.

all of the above was due to improper breathing
nautiousness and such might also be an indicater of imporper breathing during leg pressing exercisesLast edited by IronReload04; 04-23-2006 at 09:36 PM.
