Next time he walks up to you and tells you no chalk ...chalk up your right hand real nice and smack the sh!t out of him with it. Just playing...keep it in a gym bag and stick your hands in the bag and rub it on...it's what I had to do once in some B.S LA fitness. Theres nothing like lifting with chalk.

Plus I clean up after myself when I'm done. I wipe the weights down and clean the bar. No one says shit to me about using chalk because I clean up after myself.
Leave it how you found it. I'd bitch to if I had to clean the shit up every night. Clean up after yourself and it won't be an issue.Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

Gloves makes the bar slip out of my hands easier than barehands w/o chalk. Chalk is a lifesaver. So far I can go up to 495+ with just chalk with no problem. W/o it..it'll start slipping around the 405-425 mark

All right, some good advice!!! Thankx. I have tried to be as clean as posssible with it in the gym, but hell I got to admit that I did'nt go whiping everything down after I left. Furthemore, I was using "chalk in a bag". I understand a "chalk ball" is cleaner. Finally, their is nothing in the contract prohibiting it.
One more Q.
Do I be discrete with the chalk ball in my locker, and say noting to the staff member that stopped me (clean after myself and such) or do I explain the situation and hope I can convince him to let me clean up after myself. Realize that if I approch him he may just give a flat out NO?????????
