It is a lot more complicated than you think. He is a very high risk for ANY team right now. With the uncertainty of his past negotiations and what will unfold, it is a big risk to commit to. Watch, I bet Adidas will back out of the contract with him. No one wants to get involved in a big shit storm so it is easier just to go with someone else.
Go ahead and relinquish the national Champ trophy for the past 2-3 years....USC is gonna be fuc*ed for a while

they drafted a rb in the 3rd round last year and expect him to be a good player + they have bigger needs elsewhere. you should draft according to your needs not draft the highest rated player on the board.

I think some of the thinking of bush vs. super mario is the amount of plays they play and their playing career. If Mario Williams is the next Reggie White, a great DE like that plays atleast 3 out of 4 defensive downs and has an effect on almost all them as far as gameplan, and running towards their side of the field, or rolling your quarterback that way. He also would demand double teams which open things up for others. Bush would have been 2nd string running back or 2nd Wide Reciever. Probrobly be on the field for 2 or 3 out of 4 plays, and only get the ball 0-1 time out of 4. He will be a huge impact on special teams, but thats a lot to use a first pick on....
Plus the average career of an NFL running back was 3 1/2 years (went up to almost 6 cause of Curtis Martin and the Bus lol), but a Good Defensive end can be an impact for 12 years...
Either way its a chance, but like their coach said, they need to get by the Colts to do anything in the division or playoffs, and your not going to outscore them, so why not try to stop them...
Hey the dudes 6' 7" and 295lbs!! and runs like he's 240

I think Mario was a good pick for the Texans, they have Dominick Davis who when healthy is a top RB in the NFL. They really need help on the O-line and Defense and they addressed that. But saying all that, I would still have taken Reggie Bush because he would put people in the seats and create excitement around the team because he can break a 80 yard play at any time. Heck, even put him on punt returns and kick returns would be sweet.

haha i hate people who say defense wins champsionships....it doesnt...Defense keeps you from losing, you have to score to win..look at the 93 cowyboys...look att he USC offense. they won how many times? and by how? keeping the defense off the field

you have to put points on the board to win but defense does win championships. like bob stoops says "if we score we might win but if they don't score we can't lose".
