    Vinnie Jones plays the Juggernaut!!

Do they use any special effects on him to make him look massive like they did with Eric Bana in The Incredible Hulk?

I thought so. I saw a still of Vin and he looked huge!!! Now in England he's considered an "'ard bastard" but never has he been a big bastard.

To completely change the subject, as much as I hate Nicholas Cage, Ghost Rider looks pretty cool as well.

Good movie... the special effects seemed to carry a lot more detail than the other flicks... deffinitly worth seeing for the eye candy alone...

Did Magneto move that chess piece at the end??? I didn't catch it... I looked down and scratched my nutz or something and missed it...

    Juggernaut was a beast!

The cure is temporary so everyone who lost their powers will get them back. That's what happened in the comic book.

What I thought was stupid was no one thought to use Leech (the bald kid) to stop Jean from using her powers. Just stand him next to her. I guess that wouldn't have been as dramatic as Wolverine killing her.

Ya I think it moved a little bit my friend.
Anyways I thought the movie was pretty good, but I thought it could have been better. I mean I didnt like the fact that all of Magneto's minion's had to be gothic people with tattoo's and piercing's everywhere and wearing all black and ish, it made it seem way too lame. I hate how that is so played out, same in matrix, all the peeps wear black leather jackets and have piercings etc. WTF is with that?

Anyways Great action etc but definitely could have introduced less characters and given the older ones a bigger role. I mean Rogue had like no role at all it was stupid, Colossus said like 3 words the whole movie, I dunno I guess I was a little disappointed, they always try to make sequels BIGGER and better with more explosions etc, but thats not what real fans want imo.

They were supposed to be the Morlocks. They're homeless mutants who live in the suers hiding, have tats and dress poorly.

I liked the movie allot, but thought they put to much emphasis (spelling) on Special effects, The story line was all right, but it steered to far away from the Comic Books, and Yes Magneto moved the chess piece at the end,
I didnt like how 3 main Characters were killed, i thought that was Bull-Shit.
Other then that it was a great movie, and cant wait to see the 4th one.

well they had to do away with rogue...considering they took away her past of being with those trashy people doing crime and being talked into holding that super powered lady for so long as to take her into him.

The bald kid woudln't of gotten close enough to her. She'd of tore him apart. ANd if he did...the powers would have been gone not the personality. I really wish they woudln't of changed the pheonix :|

I stopped reading the superficial world of the X Men, Fantastic 4 years ago (however I still read all Garth Ennis comics, especially Punisher MAX) but isn't the Phoenix a space/cosmic being like Silver Sufer? Her powers aren't mutant based. Aw well.

A film about Magneto will be cool as i've always loved stories of tragic characters.

The Phoenix is a cosmic entity. It represents destruction and rebirth. Long story short... Jean is the physical manifestation of the phoenix force. Her mutant powers tap into the phoenix as a power source. It's why Jean has died and come back to lift so many times. "Phoenix always rises from the ashes."

I think that Magneto did move the chess piece at the end. Even more importantly, did any of you stay in the theater until after the credits? Professor X came back in another body, the body of the brain dead man that he was talking about to his students in the beginning of the movie. That movie really did kick some ass.

Correct, but I did not recall Cyclops and Prof. X dying in the comic book. I was really shocked by all of the deaths that occurred.

Yep, Cage is gonna be Johnny Blaze AKA the Ghost Rider. Some of the screen shots look really good and show the Ghost Rider cruising along on a Chopper with flaming wheels.

If there's an X Men 4 it'll be about the Sentinels, Mr Sinister or Apocalypse. Infact doing a movie version based on the Age of Apocalypse would be pretty cool.

I’ve been an Xmen fan for years, I read the comic books from when I was a small boy until I was about 19 years old I would still read them today if I could find the time.

I was disappointed in the movie. It was a decent movie, but was not comparable to the first 2 X films. I really hope they can make another one, as it would be awful for the X series to end on such a bad note.

A lot of characters that were developed in the first movie were killed off in the 3rd. Cyclops, Professor X and Mystique (not killed off but not involved). I was also disappointed to see that they never developed more into Night Crawler, perhaps they could have brought up that Mystique is Night Crawlers mom.

They also could have put in Gambit, he is as liked and as popular as Wolverine.

I would have liked to see Colossus do something more than turn to steal 2 times and have 3 lines.

Rouge getting her “super human powers” would be appealing, then pitting her against Juggernaut as you would normally see in the comics would be great. Granted that Juggy will flatten her about every time.

The final battle was probably the most disappointing. Who really wants to see Wolverine, Ice Man and Storm fight with some 2nd rate characters when it is missing key characters? Kitty Pride? Seriously Callisto? They had to be able to think of some better cronies for Magneto….Stan Lee was helping them.

The final battle should have consisted of the “X-Men” vs. Magneto and his cronies.
    Cyclops
    Professor X
    Wolverine
    Gambit
    Rouge (with powers)
    Storm
    Beast
maybe even Bishop or Pyslock (would be nice to get a hottie in there)

    pitted against

    Magneto
Juggy (to be honest, magneto and Juggy is about all they need)
    Mystique
    Sabertooth
    Havok (Cyclop’s Brother)
    Exodus

Does not Exodus and the Alcolytes sound more appealing than the Morlocks?
