    Self Evaluation

Have any of you ever noticed how often we talk to our friends, family, and peers about the things that we do that are not in the interest of others? For example, if someone had an awkward run in with an individual and said something to him/her that put that person down, that someone would be pretty quick and open to tell someone else about it. And that person may be proud of it at the same time. Does anybody else think this is strange?

I've recently taken some time and jotted down on paper a list of things that I'd like to change about myself. I was quickly amazed at the number of things that I'd like to improve on and this was one of them. Once I created this list, I have to admit that I felt really good about myself. It enabled me to pinpoint my weaknesses and it was quite clear that I'm far from perfect. But I'll take this list and use it to my advantage moving forward.

    Grace and peace,
    Mavsluva

    Is over-analyzing on the list?

Nah, but I'm seeing that under analyzing can be an issue.

I think you need to formulate your thoughts in a more clear and concise manner so the rest of society can understand exactly what you're trying to say..

I concur with your assessment of this complex situation.

My bad. It's clear to me that I've come to the wrong board.

I'm totally catchin' what yet throwing there Dude. I do this myself every once in a while, on a self improvement kick. And over the years it's helped me to become a much more kind and compassionate person.

I often look around and see people treating others badly, their family members.. sales people, service people and even perfect strangers. I always think to myself, hey.. that's someone elses daughter, or mother or father you're treating that way.. how would you feel if someone treated your family like that? Any way, that's just one example... but ya, I often look at the things I do in life and try to see if theres a better way...

I think that's a really healthy thing to do.. nice work!
