    watching hockey

I am watching the hockey game with my boss, and he swears to god that he saw two guys on the edmonton bench using smelling salts or ammonia inhailers...

I didn't catch any such thing, however I was wondering if you guys think pro hockey players will use them...

What? Well to my knowledge there is nothing illegal to that, if it were I doubt they would do with 10 million people watching

They should just quit skating around and have the whole team fight. Then call it "Ice boxing". Then i might watch it.

Hockey is demanding..thats why they have 3 or 4 different line shifts that they rotate like every 3 or 4 minutues through out the game...

and when you're fighting for the Title in the finals, i'm sure alot of the guys push themselves way beyond their limits during every shift..

so not suprised at all, if they had inhalers or oxygen masks or something like that on the sidelines that helps them catch their breath.

I can certainly see how they would help, and I have never noticed anything of this before... and never really gave it much thought.

Im hoping for edmonton myself actually, however brendamore is from my home town, so there I could go either way I guess. Still like to see a canadian team take it.

Yeah no doubt... I love hockey..Played up til I went to college.. Super demanding..you've really got to be in awesome cardiovascular shape.. The only sport I've taken more demanding than hockey was boxing and that was just brutal as hell training. Trained at our facility M/W/F. Weights on T/TH. Had to do 3-5 miles of road work 3 days per week also......The first thing we did every training day before working the bags and ring was 30 minutes jump rope. If someone messed up our coach would start the clock back over... Quit boxing 11 years ago... was about 168 back then... Tried to jump rope about 4 months ago at around 245 and couldn't make it 30 seconds.. lololololol...
