New level of laziness

So today I'm at the register at Lowes (I'm a cashier) and I hear a car honking. I look to my life and theres this lady in a lexus pulled up right near the curb so I think she's honking at somebody else. I look away..she honks again. I walk over and ask if she is honking at me. She tells me she wants 3 bags of Lava Rock and hands me money. I'm thinking...wtf? This isn't a damn drive through u lazy bastard. Anyway..i take her money..check out the next 3-4 ppl in my line and she starts honking again and when I look gives me the "hurry up" hand gesture. Finally I felt like ringing her up and bring her change out and shes like "Hurry up..get my stuff, I am in a hurry". So we get her rock..open her trunk and pretty much drop it from 3 feet high

and tell her next time to get out and its not a drive thru and the bitch speeds off and almost runs over my foot

Thats my exciting story of the day.

shoot, i deal with that kinda stuff all the time. what i woulda done is laugh at her when she tried to hand the money. i woulda played dumb and said. ya not a problem, just park your car right there grab a carrage and we would be more then happy to help you when you need it put into your car.

woooww.. i give you credit, at petsmart a customer once called and said she found a baby bird and she needed food (it was 1/2 hour after we closed) i said we were closed so she asked me if i could PUT A LITTLE (FREE) FOOD IN THE PARKING LOT when i leave. I laughed, said this is a "business" contact the SPCA or a vet. She said "they're both closed so they prob wouldnt help me"
so this was the killer here..
i said "well at what point after i told you we were closed did you lose common sense you obviously had before you called here"
there was like a 3 second delay,
she said "your an insensitive prick" and hung up, i smiled and felt like a million dollars. i think it was also that night i vowed never ever ever to submit to someones stupidity again no matter what my job is, cause my first job in life is to be a human being and be treated like one, so the rest of the world can KISS MY ASS.

There used to be a guy that did this to me at a gas station I worked at before but he had crippled legs, so I ubnderstood why he needed help pumping his gas.

yeh when i was a cashier some senior citizen use to make me do paper in plastic than tie a "bow" on the plastic part cuz he had arthritis and didnt want to rip the plastic open.
one day i had a long line and tied a not instead so he got an attitude with me. then i finally asked the question ive always been wondering since the first day met him but never had the balls to ask.. "do you have scissors".

hahaha thats great. Ya earlier today one dude was an idiot and gave me a coupon after he had already paid for a portion with a gift card..which is dumb cuz obviously ud think you would want to take $$ off BEFORE you pay..then got pissed that I couldnt reverse the whole sale?? So he started yellin at me so I got right up in his face and did the sarcastic grin and everything

my friend there that cashier's with me ran up and told me to get on the other register..I know what you mean..I won't let ppl just be a dick for no reason. I won't really say anything back..but I wont be like "Oh im sorry..im sorry" if I didnt do shit wrong and they are just in a pissed mood and taking it out on me

Yeah..guy I work with said one guy used to do that but he was in a wheelchair, which is a totally different situation all together..

I get shit like that all of the time and it pisses me off. I work an office job. I don't do manual labor. I posted this before. I was passing a room and 3 guys were moving a server rack and having trouble manuvering it towards a cart. So as I pass the guys look at me and yell hey, you're strong can we get some help. I said sure,

*ran over moved the cart right next to them, walked out room.*

I'm not going to hurt myself doing shit at work I'm not supposed to be doing, get injured and not be able to train. Fuck that!!!

Exactly, Carlos. People are like "you workout, why aren't you a loader..you're stuck behind the register" I say something similar that you say..like "I dont lift heavy things"..and they'll give me a "you look like you workout" kinna look and look all puzzled. People will always try to get me to load things and my line is "I'm not allowed to leave the register" even if theres no one there..my nametag doesnt say "loader" underneath it..

my job is a manual labour job. Part of my job is to help people stock up their bars by taking beer to their bars during the setup period (not while the club is open). I usually pick up 2 cases of beer. I usua.lly get comments like "you're workoing out and getting bigger. surely you can lift more cases than taht." Hell no im not hurting my back.

I lift heavy where it counts, in the gym.

I had some conflicting experiences with a woman who sounded just like that on my last job. consequently, i dont work there anymore

Yeah...another thing. Lowes buys everyone literally 30 boxes of pizza twice a day and they are gone within an hour. Keep in mind..in the given time when they are in the break room theres probably 20 people working. No wonder 3/4 of our employees are morbidly obese. K thats all for now

what happened that time? my job was to load up peoples car in a wharehouse at a flower and garden center. But in all honosty, we were really low on mulch at the time, and their werent many good bags left anyway, so i thought i'd save em for someone who was nice. she demanded that i replaced them, in which i didnt, because i told her she would have to get a refund or accept. she rudely continued to argue (in normal circumstances she has every right to, but this was not a normal one), so i just shrugged my shoulders and repeated myself. she then slammed the trunk, got in her car and sped out probably going 50 miles an hour and parked out in front. she ended up complaining to the magager about me and vowed never to return. my manager understood what a bithc this woman was, so he wasnt too to mad, but these situations always seem to revolve around me there is honost to God countless stories of me talking back to customers. which is why i am no longer work there.

that was senior year of highschool, i was getting payed 6.25 an hour and by end of june, i probably sat on my ass and bullshitted with other employees sitting on their ass for 6 hours in an 8 hour day. i knew i would be doing construction like i am now during summer after starting school, so i decided i just wasnt going to take shit at such a mediocre job i would never have again.
