Can you guys tell me what I can do to keep my size and strength while i am recovering??

maintain a high protein diet, maybe stick with some light cardio, and do squats/pushups i guess. in 6 weeks, you will likely lose size regardless, but this will minimise the loss. i doubt ul be off for 6 weeks though mate

I'd say to make sure you eat so you don't drop weight quickly. Will training legs effect your surgery?

I think no matter what you do you're going to loose some size, just don't let it get you down. You'll be able to put it back on after a few weeks out... with some hard work. But I agree with everyone else, keep up a high protien diet and do what little workout you can (legs etc.) and then gradually start working out more areas and harder.
