Will you stay mostly in Cagliari? Curious as to why you chose Sardinia. You'll be wining and dining a lot, seafood, lobsters, shrimps cheese, wine. Looks like a cool place to relax and soak up a lot of sun. Quite a cosmopolitan mix of influences and cultures. Italian, French, Magreb Africa
Here's some dishes

Dont forget the sunblock lotion and hat

Hey bro,
I was in Sardinia for a weekend with a friend of mine. We had a great time. We were in Algero and Bosa. We were there in the winter so it was kind of cold and dreary but it was cheap as sin. The town (Bosa) pretty much had NO people there because it was the off season.
The sites are awesome to see. You can walk all through the high hills and hit the beach. It's absolutely beautiful. You are going to have a great time man. My only recommendation is to know basica Italian before you go. A lot of people in the towns do not know English which was kind of a bitch. We had to function off of mostly German and a little English.
Just know how to ask for something to eat. "one...(enter food or point to menu)." Try to know the names of some foods. Basic manners obviously goes a long way. All the people we met there were fantastic.
I have nothing bad to say about it. Those two towns are awesome though so check em out if you have time.
