Why do you think I chose to leave after today? I am only here answering final questions and finding out about my other mod friends and where they are going after this. Yeah, take away the mod powers and people show their true colors towards those former mods. People pretend to like you and kiss your ass one day, then when you can't edit/suspend/etc., they all of a sudden grow a pair and want to demean you. You just did this yourself to me, and not once have you ever done that before.

I hadn't been on the last couple days and missed the announcement but just got caught up in the locked thread..... I can empathize with how some of the Mods are feeling as I work in the Corp. world and have to live with, negotiate and succumb to politics and change on a regular basis. Change is something that a lot of people have trouble dealing with and when coupled with feelings of betrayal or disrespect can transform into an insurmountable situation. One thing I would say is that we only see one side of this situation which is the shock and disappointment of the Mods. We're not privy to any of the business or "behind the scenes" reasons. I hope members stay optimistic and continue to post here. This is the # 1 site IMO for learning, networking and just hanging out bullshitting. For the Mods, I hope you stay and continue to share the huge depth of knowledge you all posses.
