2007 and still no cure for Hair Loss????
Come on, what are these scientist doing with there long hours in the lab??
Enough with stickin crap in Hampster and Monkeys.....It can't be that hard to figure out what grows hair!!!
If there are people out there that can grow hair all over the body, and face and its a disease, then why can't they find out how to grow hair on the scalp???? I thinks its all a money scam, just like Cancer and AIDS....
I know Scalp hair is different from other hair on the body, but why not invent something that grows hair all over your body and then get laser hair removal done all over your body except your head....SOMETHING has to work, i am tired of taking all these damn drugs and herbs and solutions, its all . Hair transplants might kinda work, but they still look fake as hell!! I am just going to buzz my head untill something comes out in the future.
I'M PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are right, to an extent, everything does come down to money. But everyone is just like you, they want the result but want someone else to figure it out first. To date, I think the most positive results have come from finasteride. It was previously used for prostate cancer recovery patients. People using it found their hair started to grow hair. This is now what is sold in diluted forms. But this is the clinically proven method. Also, dont buy all your medications from the internet. If you are losing your hair go to a doctor and get a perscription for the full strength stuff. I am not saying that companies would ever cut up medications to dilute them to make more of a profit. But, it might happen, right?
Most things in life are a give and take. If you take AAS, you may lose your hair from it. Losing hair is a side effect and if you are not willing to trade, you shouldnt do AAS. Its like taking AAS and complaining about all the muscles you get from them. It too is a side effect, right? I am not trying to be a jerk, but anyone who takes AAS should be aware of all the problems that may arise. Losing hair is not uncommon among us. We all agree it sucks, but it is another price that is paid when taking this stuff.

Guess what I do for my hair???

well i guess your haveing a bad hair day.
But i do agree with you. They should have found out by noe how to grow hair. But you have to keep in mind. They dont work long hours. The work 9 to 5 with 4 brakes a long the day. Then they pic all teh easy stuff to do first and push off any thing that is hard.

products exist to slow it down, but its a life long battle if you decide to fight it,and a costly one.
genetic or cell manipulation is the way to go,but that doesnt exist yet.

just think of it i think the governments have a cure for most of the worlds ailments but think of how much money they would lose if they released the cure. like im 100% positive they have a cure for aids and cancer but would lose millions if releasing it. they lost alot when they released the polio cure

i dont know how true it is but a combo of zinc, alzaic acid and gla(gamma linolic acid) are meant to lower 5alpha reductase(the enzyme that converts stuff) which in turn should lower dht levels.its all pretty cheap too.

Fact of the matter is, that there is not much moneytary or financial incentive for pharmaceutical companies to allocate their resources to research baldness. Even finasteride was an indirect coincidental discovery from BPH trial patients. Universal males preoccupied and willing to spend money to fight baldness represent a very small minority and thus a very minuscule ROI.
