phising emails
Ive been getting fake emails for around a week or 2 now from big names like wellsfargo paypal ebay and the like all from obviously fake addresses trying to get me to 'update my account info'.
Ive run numerous anti spyware and antivirus programs
adaware, trend micro, AVG, spybot and they will find them and delete them but im worried I might still have some due to the continuing emails???
Now im not sure how keyloggers work but do I actually have to go to linked websites or are they able to see me log into my online banking???
I havent logged into my bank website but is there any risk of them being able to see my password???

oh don't worry about it man...it's not on your computer or anything... all it is , is a generic spam con that is sent out to massive email lists with hopes people will click on the web pages they made to look like the actual web pages. You can contact your email provider so they can put them on there block list for you, but other than annoying...if you don't click on em, you can't be bothered by em.

its all garbage...if you have your email easily out and accessable on forums you can get spam quick...or if you try to get anything for free on the interent, nothing is for free, they are collecting your email and selling it to spammers....just because one of those socalled free sites has a privacy policy, doesnt mean that its in the policy to actually keep any of your infos private...their privacy policy may be to tell everyone everything they can find about you...but its just email...dont worry about it
