    Clemens, hitting the juice

Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Miguel Tejada, Brian Roberts, Jay Gibbons and David Segui are accused by Jason Grimsley of using performance-enhancing drugs in an affadavit.
Those were the names that were blacked out in the affidavit filed on May 31 when Grimsley was caught with HGH. According to the affidavit, Grimsley told investigators that Clemens and Pettitte "used athletic performance-enhancing drugs." He also said Tejada, Roberts and Gibbons "took anabolic steroids ." Segui, who retired after 2004, previous admitted to using HGH on the advance of his doctor. Grimsley has complained to friends that federal agents credited him with statements and disclosures he didn't make, and it's doubtful that he'll ever publically name names.

They got ratted out big time. Cant wait to see where this one goes. SHould be interesting.

Pudge never juiced. Get your facts straight first...never hit 48 most homers ina season was 35 in 99 when all he saw was fastballs due to the protection he had from juan in Texas. If he did juice then his Throwout on stolen base ratio wouldve dropped these past few years and it hasn't. Hes been a career .300 hitter his whole life and I dont think ever had a season where he hit below that.

i don't really follow bball til playoffs/series but if dude lost 35 lbs. and those figures are correct...pudge never was that pudgy IMO and it would raise a red colored 3ml striped flag

i did happen to notice barry bonds looked a little portly there for a while

    ok.1998 pudge 145games 21 hr 98 rbi
    1999 144games 35hr 113rbi
    2003 144 games 16 hr 85rbi.
I left out other seasons in th middle b/c he didnt have the same # of games & i wanted to compare apples to apples.
1997-2001 he hit AT LEAST 20+ hr each year.
    2002-present the MOST was 19.

    c-mon...

i think the 35 lb. weight loss is harder to explain than the stat reduction even though i agree that the extra muscle fibers can/will help performance but either way it's ashame that the players have to account for what they do off the field if it doesn't hurt anyone
