Good question. This is JUST a theory, so please don't azz rape me for it. On one of his videos (New, Improved, & Beyond??) Jay said he wanted to win the O and retire around 35. Jay has also said that one of his goals is to win every professional bodybuilding contest there is. Ronnie is pushing 43 (if he isn't already that age). How many more years can his body hold up? After the O, they both can maintain a decent state of conditioning in order to compete and win the Gran Prix shows. Whether or not they actually are in a decent state of conditioning is another matter. After these shows are finished, they'll both have a nice amount of coin. So, I'm guessing they're both trying to get as much $$ as possible before retiring in the next few years.

Ronnie should have won this show. He looks incredible compared to how he looked at the Olympia. Ronnie got better each show. Jay didn't!

I was thinking the same thing about Ronnie. I think Jay's bi's look a lot better. When both look that good it is hard to judge though, I wouldnt be able to do it. Though its most likely because Id take one look at their GH guts and have to excese myself to the bathroom.
