How do you estimate your speeding ticket amount ?

In california, going 65 in a 45. Is there a way to estimate how much the ticket will be ?

deferred adjudication is when the judge puts you on"probation" for 90 days and if you don't get a speeding ticket in those 90 days, they throw out the conviction...it still costs money, but you don't have the ticket on your record....By the way I live in texas the laws may differ

    my last one was 67 in a 40 @ $180

your dmv web site should have a chart and a chart of points if they issue points

When I got my last ticket, I figured out the following equation.

    # of mph over speed limit x 8 = $______

    plus

    # of times you referred to the officer as "fat pig" x 20 = $______

    plus

number of minutes of high speed chase x 200 = $______

    equals amount of ticket
