i help coach a middle school football team. its been a great season so far........5 and 0 and haven't been scored on. well, Monday night our full back broke his leg, bad break and out for the season. Tuesday, our best lineman got recommend for explusion.....hes out. wensday was report cards.....practice is this afternoon, will find out who got to quit then. we are half way thru the season and my nerves are shot! the name of our team is the BIG DOGS......i am the lineman coach, i call my lineman the DIRTY DOGS.

good luck with that ... remember to put academics before the field though .... these kids are young and need to understand the importance of doing well in school

i really wonder somtimes if some guys grades got fixxed in highscool. in my 4 years, i never knew of a starter that got benched for accademics, and my school wasnt exactly known for academics if you know what mean

they have line coaches in middle school? damn, times have changed.

heres my grandson.......the head coach just finished chewing butt, because the offense only put up 22 points. mike, starts at right tackle and gets a few plays at second team defensive tackle......he is strong and can block, but lacks quickness......i get him to practice an hour early and have him run tires and pulling drills. if only he had quick feet.

best of luck with that.. never had chance to play american football but it looks a hard sport. alot of tactics and every one gotta do there job right or crumbles

the kid is young ..... work on it ..... do some plyo's ....there are plenty of things u can do to work on quick feet

mike looks angry because of the butt chewing the coach gave the offense. yea thats me and granny in the pic with him. here is a pic of him smiling and with his 21 year old aunt....hey now....thats my daughter you drooling over....lol
