A lesson for people who have taken benadryl

My schedule for the past week for lack of better words, BLOWS!!!

I HAVE CLINICALS 8 HOURS A DAY

plus

class

plus

study/homework time

last night I had clinicals from 2am-8am this morning, ECA WORKS WONDERS!

So tonight I did all my homework wrote a 750 word essay roughly 3pgs. and Im ready to go to bed but Im still all off from my wierd schedule, and take 2 naps during the day didnt help.

I decide to take some benadryl. The wonderful thing about benadryl is that it causes drowsiness, as a side effect. I want to get to bed quickly, so Im all like hmmmmmmmm sublingual...quickc absorbtion, im going for it.


MY ENTIRE MOUTH IS NUMB!!!!!! I feel loopy, not tired just messed up.

moral of the story is head my warning, benadryl doesnt work quicker/better sublingually, all it does is make your mouth numb.

Use to not phase me.

Then a girl told me about how it makes you extremely sleepy and to not take it in the morning take it at night. So I sware the next day I took it in the morning again, and I could hardly keep my eyes open the entire day. Weird...maybe that brought focus to what it actually was doing because before that I never even noticed until she told me.

it made me fall asleep in the gym once when I took it for Hayfever. I closed my eyes for a second on the bench and woke up a few minutes later. I will only use at night now.

been taking for a couple weeks now...puttin me to sleep in about an hour every time....wish it would keep me out for the duration

Yup. I always get super tired when using benadryl. Causes me to be so drowsy for the next morning.
