bros, did anyone have a pleasure experiencing one of those. I need a daily driver through and not sure if Vett would make a reliable one for a two year period. I can get the 2005 for mid $30K

i think they are pretty reliable. you should be ok with a low mileage daily driver........... but remember the more after market modifactions you put on it the less reliable it will become

if ur like 25+ porsche is great. i guess it really impressive and respectful. im 18 so obviously what i think of somone my age in a porsche is alot different to what 25 year olds would think of people in porsche. features i wouldnt know. but im a real strong beleiver in value and quality for money. and nothing can compete with WRX within a respectable price range in my opinion

I guess you cant hold out for a year or so and get the twin turbo AWD G35?
Would you be planning on adding any mods to the car?

since i am free tomorrow, i'll be heading over to the local dealership and test drive the Benz. I am honestly trying to drift away from the BMWs since i've owned numerous before and would like to try out a different car maker all together.
it'll be an 03 SL500 and is slightly above my spending budget. I am more of luxury SUV/sedan type of guy for a daily driver, but this car did get my attention just like the Vett. NO, i will not be buying it that same day, it'll just be a fun day and maybe i'll get to drive a Vett as well at another location.
daym, desicions and more desicions

I would get the Benz over a vette any day. A vette may be a fast car but they are cheesy. They are considered a poor mans exotic by me.

just got back from testing the SL500 the entire morning and i honestly wanted to drive it home right away, but the more i though about it, i need more room since i am used to the SUV so probably will continue shopping around for a luxury sedan.
I passed on the Vett and did not feel like driving 40min. just to test drive that thing since i am not gonna buy it any ways. buying a car is not an easy task, i can tell you that much simlar to choosing a woman you wanna have a relationship with

500+ at the crank isn't hard, with the proper upgrades, but the figures you're talking are crazy. My Bimmer with a Stage 3 Turbo and fully built motor can't produce that. 705HP was the best we've managed to get out of it after two seperate Dynos and tunes. You have that kind of power, put it on tape at the dragstrip, show your slip and I'll bow down, but until then, you're full of shit.
