i like to do cardio n sweat alot...

how long does the pain take to subside?? is it worth teh time?

It's painful when it's done, from a scale from 1-10, probably a five. The piercing itself takes about 10-20 seconds each. So the initial pain only lasts for about a minute. They might throb for a couple of hours after their done with a little pain, but nothing too bad. You will experience minor pain and sensitivity for a week to several weeks until they heal. Unless one or both get infected, you should be fully healed in about a month.

I had em done. pretty painful. looked good but the sensitivity didnt seem to be dieing down at all. then one got infected and I had enough. my nips are scared for life cause I had a metal bar in them for a month. not worth it in my opinion.

I have done. Didn't seem any more painful than any of my other piercings. Overall the lip hurt the worse but only for a second and my tongue was the worse overall because it ached for a few days.

I guess since everyone I know was building it up to be such a bad experience that I was expecting more from it.

this is true...i want to get them done...i just got my ears done, and girls love em'...i just cant take the pain.ill put a 22g needle in my arm all day, but a 12g in my nips......ouch!

i wouldnt get it done ever.. im not a fan of body peircing, i got my left ear done and soon my right. i got like half a carrot diamond for each ear. they arnt overly big but not too small. i like them. havnt worn earing in a year but i will get my right done soon.

i had mine done. i liked them alot. very sensative. the problem i didnt like is when you wear tight shirts and your chest sticks out it looks funny..

I had my left one pierced a little over 2 yrs ago. I like it, think its cool. And my wife and her hot friends think its sexy too which is cool also. Didn't hurt too badly but took a long time to completely heal. A guy at a local piercing shop (not where I had it done) told me it can take up to a year to completely and totally heal up to where it doesn't ooze or weep anymore. Its all good though. Get it done.

I had one done. It only hurt for the first 5 seconds that the needle was going through my nipple. You could easily go to the gym later that day.

It does make your nipple very sensitive with the ring in. If you get punched in the chest, or have the ring pulled, it will hurt... ALOT.

It's really nothing to be worried about. But your nipple will look bigger if you take the ring out later.

yea later in life your going to have a protruding nipple and thats something i do not want to have

I have one nipple done, and it's a fair amount larger than the other. Plus it always looks hard.
