How to create a password reset disk
Note that this procedure requires one blank, formatted floppy disk.
To create a password reset disk for your local user account, follow these steps:
1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE. The Windows Security dialog box appears.
2. Click Change Password. The Change Password dialog box appears.
3. In the Log on to box, click the local computer--for example, click Computer (this computer).
4. Click Backup. The Forgotten Password Wizard starts.
5. On the Welcome to the Forgotten Password Wizard page, click Next.
6. Insert a blank, formatted disk in drive A, and then click Next.
7. In the Current user account password box, type your password, and then click Next. The Forgotten Password Wizard creates the disk.
8. When the progress bar reaches 100 percent complete, click Next, and then click Finish. The Forgotten Password Wizard quits and you return to the Change Password dialog box.
9. Remove and then label the password reset disk. Store the disk in a safe place.
10. In the Change Password dialog box, click Cancel.
11. In the Windows Security dialog box, click Cancel.
given he has access to "a" puter...dont have to be his own

its easy to break a pass on xp, heres how :
1 - start up computer
2 - when it starts up make it go into safe mode. you can do this by pressing a key that will be indicated on the screen b4 the welcome screen comes up
3 - dont worry if u miss it, just remember which key is for safe mode then restart
4 - a black scren comes up, u select safe mode.
5 - windows wil start up as usual
6 - u should see an account for administrator, clik on it
7 - u now have ful control and rights for al acounts and you can go into control panel as usual and adjust any pass you like
8 - restart computer
hope that helps

1 uppercase letter
1 lowercase letter
1 number
1 symbol
be 8 characters long

Another method:
Download and burn a cd called "admin password recovery" its a linux boot disc. The utility has a password reset option.

here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/8603196/...acker.rar.html
make the image...burn it to cd...restart your pc with cd boot first set in bios and then reset the accounts or make a new one.
you need a hard copy of xp or 2000 to use this software.
