I used the stock ignition (cheap) and only made 310hp, but 430lbs to the wheels, go figure.

a subaru in uk exhaust only mods, you would at absolute best with a good launch make low 13s ! but see how long your clutch lasts, seen it a million times 3 of my pals have had them, 0-60 was the only way they ever beat me in the s2000 once rolling especially above 100 they are pants,
iv 1/4 miled against them a million times in various cars,
now dont get me wrong there is some seriously quick subarus around but stock 1s are dung with the exceptions of
sti type R
sti models
22b
P1 etc etc

even if it had 300bhp,which it dont its a 1500kg car the 2006/7 model, and that is a fat ass to pull,
compared to a 2002 model with 276 at 1215kg or so, either way, it is mathematically impossible to be quicker than older models
look at the big picture, older higher spec models are quicker

you have no idea about wat your on about, its about power/weight and traction over a 1/4 mile,
i had a 300 bhp astra and race many traction was horrendous, a subaru would eat me all the way, but 100 yards from finish i would fly past it, ran low 13s @ 110 mph in that,
alternativly, i had a corsa with an 20XE engine, only running 170ish bhp but at 900kg, ran low 14s @ 99 could hold stock subarus off the whole way,
honda s2000 standard with a good launch 14 dead but terminal speeds always over 100s
subaru terminals always suck even with an awesome 1/4 time !!!
all its good for is traction !!!!! simple

s2000 are about as quick is a stock wrx. i wouldnt drive one but. i like my 5 seats. i really wanna get a porsch cayman or 911. i been wanting to for ages. just to compare. think it would be a bigger rush with there body shape and size. altho id never buy a porsche. dont really beleive in spending that much on a named car.

0-60 is not a judge of a quick car tho,0-100 is a better judge , i know cars that can quarter in 13s with terminal speeds still in the 90s but i couldnt get near it time wise but terminals over 100, this means i was catching it the whole way and if it was a 1/2 mile not a 1/4 i couldve wasted it,, some cars are just awesome off the line, thats it the honda would be quicker 30-100 , or 30-150, im not tryin put you down, far from it, it prob is a decent quick car, but its not what many people think it is, i always fancied 1 but rollin speed accelerating put me off, awesome sounding engine tho,

my honda had an indicated speedo reading of 163 when i was driving, now i know about speedo readings and innacuracies (spelling)
while my astra could only do 148 due to gearbox ratios,
now on paper my s2000 was quicker, both to 60 and top speed, but in reality the astra was far superior, it was flat out by the time it took the honda to reach 130 !
you get what im saying ?

For graduation, my dad is buying me a car and asked me what I wanted.
I'm thinking either an audi RS4, or lotus exige or elise would be fun in orange!

2007 Hynadai Sonata V6 240ish hp and 225 torque. Leather and loaded with decent infinity sound system and loaded. Got it for 16,500k 7or 8 under retail. With my old escape i got 8k for that so it would up 8,500 and I can pay it off in roughly 2 years just in time for graduation when hopefully Ill get something real nice. I think its an ok investment becuase in 2 years with about 25k miles I feel I can get almost what I paid for the car initillay somehwere between 14000-16000. Anyway to the engine performance, when you leave it in normal drive its got a nice punch to it and high performance is real nice. But in shifttronic the car comes to life. Ive done approx a 7 second 0-60. I like the fact how on the highway you can downshift from 5th all the way to 3rd and I can really go quick. On a few of my friends shiftronics they cant do that. You can really push each gear this way.
