Bad experience at the doctor's office
So i was due for a physical and they needed to draw some blood from my arm... fine... its never been a problem in the past
however, when she started feelings around the pit of my arm for the vein i just didnt feel right. Thinking that this is just because i'm not 'used' to doing this (the last time i had my blood drawn was a few years ago, it went fine that time) i just ignored and did nt say anything. Then as she was gettting ready to insert the needle i felt a numbness all over my body and i told her that i would need some water right after.
At that point i completely blanked out... i had a dream with a song in the background and some people talking about something. In the dream i felt a bit of a shake. I woke up and i was completely disoriented... i didnt know where i was and people around looking rather concerned. They said that i blanked out and then i started shaking...
I will certainly ask my doctor about what s going on here... but in the mean time have you guys ever had experiences about this??

Yeah,
I'm a big pussy when it comes to having blood taken.
One time I looked over at what was going on, saw my blood going into the syringe passed out, scared the hell out of the little nurse. She had to keep my big ass from falling out of the chair.
I've given blood since, just didn't look at what was happening and was fine. It's strange though, I can give myself an injection just fine, just can't handle having blood drawn.

1 of two things happened, your blood sugar was low as hell and you didnt eat enough, or anxiety caused you to faint. Sounds like an anxiety attack

The last time I blacked out at the doctors office I woke up with my pants unbuttoned and all the nurses looked tired.
