i can help you ....but not cracking this POS software...dude...norton is LIKE a virus...it uses all of your cpu / gets updates only once a week...dont catch everything. My advice to you is to get AVG Free ...daily updates....its free...and catches stuff like no other
    Code:

    CD Manipulator V2.70

The original CD Manipulator homepage has now gone, this version is a zip file that doesn't need installing. Just extract the contents and run the exe file, this is the only place on the web I've found that still has this version for download. This program is similar to clonecd

    CD2ISO

CD2ISO is a simple tool to extract .iso images from your cd or dvd disk. It will read any drive as raw disk, so you can also use it to make a sector dump of a removable drive (cd, dvd or floppy).
Cd2iso works very straight-forward. It will dump raw sectors of a filesystem. You do not need any additional dll files.
You can use it to make iso dumps of a CD or DVD drive, and to verify the checksum of existing or just-burned disks.

    Diskman - http://diskman.dyndns.org/faq.aspx
    What is Diskman?
Diskman is a hard disk manipulation program.
Diskman (DM) started as a tool for manipulating FAT boot sectors (the very first section of a disk that describes a volume or partition) and has grown ever since. Historically Diskman's most commonly used purpose was to quickly created a Microsoft Windows NT bootable hard disk partition by loading the NT boot block onto the drive. Nowadays DM can do many other tasks such as provided a search/edit tool for a drive, manipulate/create/format partitions and backup/restore long filenames.
Diskman has an basic scripting language that can be used to automate more complex manipulations. Diskman can backup and restore the long filenames used by later versions of Microsoft Windows and not available through traditional DOS. Finally DM can now work with additional drive types such as floppy disks, disk images (files) and CD/ROM drives.
Diskman was written for fun and therefore the direction that it develops in is entirely dependent on the response I get from releasing it on the Internet. I hope that it will be useful to someone and I look forward to hearing about any uses that it has been put to. Please beware that although it has been tested it is still beta software which is very much in development, I cannot, and will not, warranty that this software is free from bugs and that in extreme circumstances it may corrupt data. You have been warned!

ubuntu is a good OS. but if u really wanna see its full potential you could install a custom kernel and mess with the I/O. Change it from pre-emptive to CFQ . also the timing frequencies. this will yield a system that can not only boot in under 12 seconds but alot of the typical functions will fly by.

well sure. lets see here. the most common and free way is to use proxy. this will allow you to surf under another IP . there are websites which feature proxy lists ( updated daily ) for example here is one -> http://www.publicproxyservers.com/
depending on which browser you use..most of the time you can go to tools-> connection settings -> proxy settings and input the data given from website. this can prevent some neuscenses such as IP based pop-ups and tracking cookies. There are more advanced ways of masking your IP such as spoofing..however im not goint to explain on here how to accomplish such feats bcse depending on where you live it may be illegal. Another good method is to use a auto-cache cleaner. im pretty sure ubuntu 6.06 comes with one...u can look in synaptic package manager ( do a search for "cache" ) also its good to erase all browser history daily...some browsers can be set to do this automatically. i use firefox so i do it manually. it is also good to set up a "browsing" email... basically an email u can use when prompted by some website. Since youre using linux clicking bad links isnt really a problem ( .exe viruses dont effect us linux users ) only time i would worry about .exe viruses if you have a program called " wine " installed . this is a windows emulator ( it allows the use of programs with the .exe extension ) Also ubuntu has something called "squid" this is another proxy program ( i cant really give u details on it..since i never really use it...but from what i hear ..its an automatic proxy .
