    Yes, read it. Gives you a lot of good info. Some things you might already know, but it brings it all together - proper nutrition, macros, ratios, calorie counting, meal freq, etc.

    The info contained in the book is crucial to understanding proper nutrition. But one must understand, it is a life style not a quick fix. This book will form a solid foundation. Of course, there are free sources on the net that will give you the same info - just more work to try and find it.

    Overall, I would recommend the book. After that, expand your knowledge by reading lots of articles by John Berrardi on exercise and nutrition. He takes it one step farther and is one of the best in the business.

    Sounds like I'm giving these guys a plug - maybe I should ask for commissions?

    It should read free resources, and no, I didn't mean free copies of the book. Information contained in the book is not a revelation. All the info can be pieced together through various sources.
