Whats the best time to train???
Hey!
I was just wondering if there is a "better" time of day to train (morning/afternoon/night)
The reason Im asking is because I've always trained on an afternoon (about 4pm) but I`ve started a new job so now I train on a morning (at about 11am).. does the time of day have a different affect on the body??
Thanks
Tony

best time to train good question, without any real knowledge on the matter i would say a few hours after you wake up and have a good 2 meals. but thats just my random guess.

doesn't matter, your body will adapt to any time you train, numerous professional bodybuilders in the past have proved this

i think it probly depends when you feel more energetic. Or as in your circumstances, when you have the time. I personaly prefer after work (4pm) and if its weekend i do it in the mid afternoon

I get horrible workouts if I have not had several meals before training. I train in the evening around 7-9pm.

I suppose its gonna take a little getting used too.. one advantage.. the gym is alot quieter! I think I just gonna have to start eating earlier too!

I love that time too, but my gym is packed at that time (24 hr. fitness) I go at 9:00am for morning cardio (when I can wake up) and 3:30 pm when more staff come after school. I miss when a bunch of us guys at bally use to go down at 8:00pm and work out, man the energy we had

This is one of those subjective questions and down to when the person training personally feels best.

During the week I train around 6 p.m. but my favorite is to do it around 130-2 in the afternoon. I have more energy then.

I like to train late afternoon. Dont like going in the morning at all, and dont liek going too late either, so half wayu into my day and half way into my meals usually suits me best.

whenevr you feel like it is the best time.
Personaly I have to workout in the morning if I want to be explosive and charged, preferably on empty stomach or after a small shake.
It seems like for every meal and hour that passes after I wake up I get more sluggish and slow. Im just to tired after a day of studying to even think about hitting the weights.
