    tv licence hike

So the government agree to have th etv licence price at £150 by 2012. What a ****ing joke.

For one, I only watch about 3 hrs of tv a day, and it hardly ever is on the bbc channels. Surely there should be some sort of pay as u use scheme. Or if the bbc had adverts then there would be noneed for licence at all

yeah **** paying...just when you buy your TV lie about the postcode...they don't really have detector vans that go around to see who's picking up a signal w/o a license...thats a scare story like the bogeyman!

I haven't had a license since I moved back from the US in 04....I just give my grans address when I buy a TV...they probably wonder why a 77 year old woman has 3 flatscreens..but she gets her license free, damn old fogies, always after handouts.

speaking of which, I just got £3200 off the govt in free money! being a student is almost the easiest money I ever made.

£140 quid a year and I never even watch it....Might be the RIGHT thing to do but its a waste of money IMO. The only thing I really watch on TV is prison break, rest of the time I watch DVDs

The only programs I'd be happy to pay for are nature programs and prison break

and porn, but they don't do that
