    Life. Future. Success.

This goes out to all the guys who are under 25 or have not stopped producing hormones like they should (not like most know til its too late).

I've been thinking alot latly about my health and the future. Im going to be 22 this year and cant beleive what the future holds instore. I've been reading up alot on IGF, MGF, HGH, And I must say its been depressing. In the next 5 years my body is going to start the begining of the end, The end of my bodies ability to grow and the ability to repair its self so easily.

So instead of ranting on about this envitable depressing topic, lets ask a question to my fellow generation:

Do you have any regrets of your past years? How much have you learned that you will use and allow to change/help you for the rest of your life?

    I'll start it off.

    Death:

Death is the biggest thing i've learned about since becoming an adult etc... To fully appreciate life you have to understand death. Its the only thing thats certain in life, But its also the most ignored IMO. I've been 185 mph on my bike, I've rode wheelies for miles at 135+, I've raced cars in the rain, Bottomline I've done alot of dumb ass things. BUT, What is life without the possibility of death? Prison. Eventually you get old and die. But there is a balance that needs to be had with the experience of possible death. Otherwise you just sit around and let things happen, which is just boring and pointless. Your basically already dead.

Which leads me to my other lesson learned:

    Failure:

Nothing in life is more important than failure. Failure breeds success. If you fall down and pick yourself up one time, you've learned what not to do in that situation and how to stay on your feet longer. Whats the difference between a professional vs an amature? Experience with failure.

But theres one thing in life thats most important:

    Will:

The will to do something is a fine line between sitting on the couch and becoming all you can be. To some they might dream up an idea and have it pass right by and then think what if? What if I did this? What could I have become? What if...What if...What if. Will is the biggest thing ive learned so far in my life. If I think I can do something I need to do it. If my body is telling me that I cant do one more squat or one more press I find myself looking deep into my soul and willing it to happen. Im not always successful, But like I said before failure breeds success...If i couldnt get that one or to more reps last time im gonna get it next time becuase my mind has told my body "you need to be stronger" and it will. Strength, power, weakness all come from one place, Your mind.

That last paragraph reminds me of a qoute from Arnold that is one of my favorites:

"The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens."

I dunno why exactly i've posted this on AR but idk mabey you guys have something you've learned that you can share thats changed your life...

Just remember this saying that an old man told me at the black jack table in Vegas. When you think about it, the old crazy bastard knew what he was talking about:

Why tiptoe thru life to arrive safely at the gates of death?

He said that playing $130,000.00 hand of black jack. He's right. I'm 29 years old and I figure I got plenty of time still to fvck up and I'll still be alright.

My motto: Fvck yesterday, fvck next week. Worry about tomorrow because you can't change yesterday and you may not be alive next week.
