Selling on Ebay / Ebay store

Has anyone ever opened an Ebay store? How hard is it to do? This clothing company wants me to set one up for them (they have a brick and mortar storefront) and I have no idea where to start. Or should I forego a store and just list their items piece by piece on ebay. They sell vintage clothing. Any advice would be great, thanks

I sold a lot on eBay and bought quite a few things there as well. Can't directly answer your question(s), but can tell you that eBay has templates/customer service/FAQ to guide you through the process of what you're asking. Good Luck Bro.

If you can create an account on AR then you can open an ebay store its pretty idiot proof I know some right numbskulls with ebay stores. It is dirt cheap to list items in an ebay store compared to regular auctions with the added benefit that store items are now returned in ebay search results. Incidently, why are you setting it up and not your boss, technicaly you are liable for tax on everything sold through an account in your name but Im guessing your boss knows that. Depending on the country your in the tax office will be informed as a matter of course after a certain turnover amount has been reached, in the UK its about £4000. Same goes for PayPal.

He makes a good point here ... just make sure you're covered in your agreement. Might want to visit an attorney.

I am my own boss, this guy is subcontracting me because they know nothing about this sort of stuff. I would be setting it up in their name, selling on their behalf
