It's all about leverage. Long, wide strokes create racket speed. Just as it does in golf.

do you think if he added some gear to his regimine he could crank 150 mph like andy roddick? I bet he could but might lose some finesse and placement. A lot of what makes him unbeatable is not how hard he hits it but where he places it at those speeds.

His ability to create angles is what makes him so amazing. He's got all of the tricks, where most guys only have a few of them.

    I concur with you 100%.

What impresses me most about him is that he refuses to participate in any marketing campaigns. Hence the reason why you never see him in commercials. He's got sponsors (and lots of them!), but the dude is a rare commidty in the world of sports today.

watching him is like watching neo in that final scene int the matrix or just watching any floyd mayweather jr fight. Just SO much better than everyone else makes it look effortless but he is making impossible shots.

He just lost his first match in over 2 years. He just fell short of John McEnroe's all time record

My favorite still is Nadal, watching his match against Rodick.
