Hey guys real quick, is there any way you can find out a persons home address from his I.P. address? And if so how? Some jerk is harassing someone on a certain site and the owner of the site has his I.P. address and now trying to find out who this guy is, so is there anyway we can find out?

no, u can find out some info like general location ie which city and state but not much more than that.

i could be wrong though

Ya we found out the city already, lives in the same city as us, it's someone we know just hating. I was hoping you could get home addresses. Anyone else?

contact someone like norton-symnatec, tell them someone is trying to hack your computer looking for open ports. they can find out.

Sounds dumb to me.

"Someone we know" meaning there's a really good chance it's an acquaintance and we aren't going to go looking for him, for all we know it could be a girl. We were just really curious and I wanted to know if there was a quick and simple way. So that's all there was to it, hope that cleared it up for you.
