ps3 eu 23rd march! need help

so i just preorder my ps3 along with the game resistance... what exactly comes in the ps3 package, i couldnt get real info from the guys at the store!... what is a good 2 player game to get (think only release games will be released)

Things to buy for your PS3
HDMI Cable to connect to an HDTV or HD computer monitor. Do not buy an expensive one. They're all the same.
Second wireless 6-axis controller.
Sony PS3 Blu-ray remote control.
Bluetooth headset if you don't already have one.

Which model are you getting? The 60 or 20 gig?

im not sure of the model, the language barrier is tough, i think there is only one model coming to that store or area. they didnt give me a choice. just wanted deposit and details. but i will go to the store monday to try to confirm.

what 2 player games can you reccomend. i cant play call fo duty on console, since ive played it on pc, and i played oblivion on pc too.

need for speed is always great, is it a big difference from the others. last one i really played was underground 1 or 2.

haha i actually havnt listend to hiphop in about 2 months or so! its all about house trance and techno now

i will prolly look at tekken, although all the fighting games are the same
i seen theres a new final fantasy on ps3, i never played one. before but i used to like those kind of games a few years ago, any one played it.

but yeh,i think my lounge rooms tv is about 120 cm or about, and its HD.
so it should be fun playing on that..

Italy breaks Euro PS3 street date

You'd think that after waiting for roughly five months longer than the rest of the world, European retailers would be able to wait a couple more days to start selling their one million stockpiled PS3s. Apparently not, though, as an Italian retailer has broken Sony's carefully planned street date, causing a domino effect in other other stores across the country.

GamesIndustry.biz reports that small specialist chain Darty took out ads for a 7 p.m. Wednesday PS3 sale in advance of the official Friday launch. Competitor Media World responded by canceling midnight sales plans and letting its stock loose at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning (or roughly seven and a half hours ago, Italy time, as of this posting). Italy's GameStop stores are currently planning to stick to the street date, but said they might be forced to break it to stay competitive.

Sony, for its part, is "deeply disappointed by the unilateral decision" to launch early and is "carefully consider[ing] all available options in relation to retailers who have commenced sale of PlayStation 3 prior to 23rd March 2007."

i got my ps3, cheap sony didnt even include a demo disc or casion royale. i got a extra controler and dvd remote so far, with only one game, resistance. i will buy another game when somthing apealing comes out or i get bored. ps3 come with no game in usa too?

Casino Royale does not come in the box. When you register your PS3 Sony ships the blu-ray DVD to your registration address. Hurry and register because there are a limited number of the DVD.

Download all of the game demos. I have Motostorm and it's lots of fun. If you like the demo of it the full game is MUCH better than the demo.

It depends on the package you buy. The base system is the PS3 only. No game or DVD inside. Some store sell a sport pack which is the PS3 plus a bunch of sports games. That shit costs like $1,000 US.

man my ps3 was 600 euro, 60 gig no game or nothing, a little high i think, a controler was like 50euro and dvd remote was like 30 euro. game 60 euro. so i didnt buy anything more, cause i told my mum it would be like 400 euro

can u give me a 5 line crash course on how it works, before i read the manual and set it up, it already comes with all software ect i asume, do i need a contracted internet connection? or just i plug it into my router or what... it is pretty advanced so i wouldnt be surprised if it was all wireless.. ill get started on that tonight.

The 60 gig version has built in wireless and there is an ethernet cable in the box. Plug the PS3 into your router or connect it over wireless. On the PS3 main menu if you go all the way over to the left you'll see settings. Go to settings/Network settings and it walks you through a setup wizard. It's very easy.

woohoo thats dam cool, i remember trying to do ps2 was a bitch and anouying and had multiple problems in australia... ill sort it out later. im done 15% of need for speed carrer, very well made game by far the best and most advanced racing game, love all the sweet options on carbon.
