Than when they walk on a hard floor they slide around and wobble like a seal, its pretty cute. I worked with these things for like 4 years at petsmart but would never buy them although I think most reptiles are pretty cool. Buying crickets/mice every week def becomes a hassle and an expense after a while.
Id rather have a scorpion or maliuromastyx (sp)

Not only that but an easy 75% of ppl who own reptiles get all freaked out when they come in to get the crickets.. i never understood it.
You can have a little baby dinasour in your house but an insect scares you? (talking about the customers)

I own 5 snakes...
two red rattle snakes 1 male 1 female(verry good RED)
1 dimond back rattle snake
two hog nosed pit vipers (SUPER venomous)
my buddies like to come over all the time to watch em kill/eat food
i sold my venomous fish and piranhas... reptiles are easy as hell to care for, feed em once a week and keep em with fresh water. the food is cheap too you can buy a frozen mouse for 25cents on some websites... or live at petshops for 4$ each

I owned a Gheko and some British lizards in the past however you have to take a bit of a risk cause they mostly live on Crickets and it's a bastard if one or more crickets escape!

I love reptiles and amphibians.
Mostly of what I've had in the past I've caught in the wild. Box turtles, Snapping turtles, red eard sliders, painted turtles, garder snakes, green snakes, rat snakes, ring neck snakes, tree frogs etc... I only kept some of the turtles that I found in the road, and later when they got to big I let them go in lakes.
I did have 2 tiger salamanders, a pac man frog, a crested gecko, and I can't remember what else that I actually bought from a store.... Oh yeah iguanas.....uhhh cant remember the rest.
Now I'm currently looking for a cool/held friendly lizard. Like beardies, but I'm thinking more towards a blue tongue skink....Or maybe some more exotic lizard.
Anyone know of some kickass lizards for under 200 bucks?
