    new job offer

well, I dont know if many of you are into this sorta thing, or are even at all in my area, coastal british columbia. But I was just offered a job with DFO, De partment of fisheries and oceans. sounds like a good job, government and all... Id be on commercail boats and docks monitoring their catch and infractions in their practice. I like the idea, pay is really good. but Id have to deal with fisherman who hate me cause im there to limit them...

what do you guys think? any of you familar with this job? I have to give my answer before the weekend.

I was born in europe, and worked every summer as a fisherman, then graduated to cruise ships..and then college
but that is a cool job, you ll feel a little more important, since what you say is what counts... you could make some mad cash on the side but i m sure you already know that...
    good luck man

I would take that kind of job in a heartbeat. Working for the Canadian Government is the best way to find a secure job with good pay and benefits. If you're going to school for some sort of management or anything related, you could easily move up in that kind of job.
