Who here has roommates?

I will limit this from a rant to just a simple discussion on something everybody has had at least once: roommates. I have been out of college for a couple of years now and I have been living in decent sized house by myself for about a year. The wife and kids thing never materialized, so I decided to take in a bro to help out with bills. It's cool having a homie around, but at times living with someone who you aren't married to is a pain in the ass. I.E. Beating rent out of them every month, cleaning up after them, dealing with their shit when they are in a crappy mad, dealing with their shit when they are drunk and partying and you are trying to chill, etc. All right I said I would limit my rant on roommates, but I could basically right a book on them. If this thread gets rolling, I've got some good stories to tell.

Bro, I'm 1 year away from graduation and I know where your coming from. I'm assuming your bro is a good friend, and it's one thing to hang out with them, and it's another to live with them. Their true personalities come out and sometimes it's just too much shit to deal with. Sometimes you gotta sack it up and tell them how it is, and if they don't respond to your warnings/advice, you gotta cut your losses and kick them out. It sounds harsh but your home is a place of refuge, a place for you to relax, and be you. I got plenty of stories too....2 of my roomates are alcohalics...they f*cking drink EVERY night. Imagine that.

yeah 2 of mine are drunk 3-4 nights a week..but I figured that "normal" for most kids arent here

i have two other girl roomates they to drink about 5nights a wk,and they make horrible messy needless to say i am living alone.

I have 2 and they FEAR me hahahaha.

They tried moving out cuz I'm such an asshole and I forced them to stay cuz otherwise the landlord would make me pay their rents. I just told them I'd know where they lived and kick their asses.

i lived in magalluf majorca for 6 months in 2005, it started off with me and two friends from home, theyd get drunk, do the odd class a, make a mess in the kitchen, which i constantly was cleaning up as i used it so much, but you know they never made me mad, when they were drunk there was no problem, all the girls we brought back was no problem, id do it again in a heartbeat. I really enjoyed living with them.

We also had two swedish girls move in with us for abit, they were also easy to live with, although alittle childish at times, they were only 18 though so there you go.

I guess i got lucky, as some people just live with dickheads

my room mates arent bad. they are loud for sure, but I can deal with that. the most important thing is that they are clean enough for me, pay their bills and we get along quite well...

5 ppl cramped in 2 bedroom apartment but we usally go out to party so its not a problem and we are all passed out by the time we get home so the small size isnt a issue
