    *** what does that mean

    This may be a silly question but Ive seen alot of people post words like ***ending and things like that. Why the *** on certain words??

    its because they are special letter codes that will give the cia too much info and they will come cracking down on all the AR members and the forum will be no more

    Yeh sometimes it happens by accident, like the word ***ressed will star out the first few letters but you can write d e p r e s s e d. I've noticed it does this on a few other words that aren't curses. Like you cant write **** but you can write fvck which makes sense cuz its profanity. But I have absolutely no idea why you cant write the word ***ressed. I would have to imagine its some kinda script code mistake somebody made when they built this website.

    The prefixes of some words are censored words.

    Censored because they're the acronym or full name representative of a lab or source.

    Lab and source discussion are against the rules here... and as members seldom adhere to the rules, the system_administrator added these words to the word filter... so they're automatically filtered when one posts.
