Has this ever happened to anyone

Didn't know where to post this, so please move accordingly.

I have been off cycle now for nearly 8 weeks. Have been taking a clean high protein diet, mod carbs and fats.

On Saturday I did a big leg day, got changed, threw my gear in my bag. The next day opened my sports bag and the smell of ammonia hit me in the face.

Any input on this would be great, as it freaked me out.

An amonia molecule is made up of a nitrogen atom with three hydrogens atoms. What else has nitrogen - Protien. Ammonia is a product of amino acid deamination. If you have a high protien diet and do not get enough energy from carbs and fats - your body will break down amino acids by removing the nitrogen among other things to get the enegery it needs.
