i'm a sys admin/soft developer... and even that i look better, dress better, do more crazy/danger things within a week that my colleagues over their entire life i still gotta feeling that at least half of them see me as regular geek...

it's annoying.. maybe it's time to change profession...

well, i do! it is basic thing that you do care what other ppl think... i only spent majority of my time with them.

So you train and go to the gym because you like to stare at yourself in the mirror? Everyone has an image, and the poeple that say they dont care what other people think..thats their image.

Everyone cares what some people think of them to an extent...its just a matter of who. I don't care what my co-workers think of me, but I do care what my friends and family think?

I agree, I wish I could say I don't care, but I do. I don't think I'm that bad, but I am working on it.
