Picked up fishing last year as a hobby after I had 3 months off after foot sugery, and I love it. I love the fight they put up and the whole challenge of fishing. Anyway caught my personal best today 7.2 pounds, anyone ese fish?

    Bait?

What kind of bait did u use to catch them this season? I started fishing 3 years ago but last year did not fish that much. I liked using senko's and spinners. The last fish I remeber catching was a 20 inch stripper using makarel for bait, I was fishing from a pier. Fish on bro!!

nice fish....both are. i gave up bass fishing about 4 or 5 years ago. i switched to catfishing. i catfish couple times a month at the least. ever down here in south louisiana....i will put you on some cats. the cat in the pic went 24 lbs...any cat much bigger then this, i release. i use light tackle, so its a blast to land anything over 10 pounds.

Those are some nice bass right there ... I like to do freshwater fishing from time to time .... for largemouths and peacocks .... although I caught about a 35 lb blackfin tuna last weekend, on a charter.

I used a white senko, its my favorite lure. The fish in NY are in pre spawn mode so they are bulking up before they mate, now is a great time to fish.

nice fish guys, I really enjoy crappie, trout and specifically Flathead catfish fishing. I like to fish small creeks were I live. The Flatties dont get as big as they do in big rivers or lakes but they put on one hell of a fight.
