So I met Jose Canseco...
Well, I didn't really meet him but I went to this local celebrity fundraiser dinner and he was a guest. If you grew up in the 80's and played little league baseball I am sure he was some sort of mythical hero to you, as he was to me. He was definently a towering figure and still looked pretty jacked at the age of 43. All the girls in the room definently had their panties in wad over him, but he was with some chick at least 20 years his junior. I would give her about 7. She was certainly hot but you would think Canseco could do much better if you ever saw his first wife, Jessica. Anyways, I didn't really care to introduce myself, because in my book he is a douchebag for ratting out his former teammates for a quick buck. This post isn't terribly important, just something interesting I thought I would share.

Did he accuse you of AAS use and then write a book about it?

i was a huge canseco fan to in the late 80's. i would go to card shops and spend all my money on his baseball cards and amassed several hundred and i actually still have them. i had family that lived in the bay area and they would send me t-shirts, jerseys and baseball cards. i bought his book and pretty much feel like everyone else that read it and that is he's an a-hole and a snitch.

yeah, he was a total snitch but i think he believed MLB had blackballed him out of the league because he was a steroid abuser. so in a way, he wanted to expose the "truth" (he wasn't the only one taking PED) and make a buck.
