Need the advice of some ebay powersellers!

I know there are quite a few successful entreprenuers on here, and not a day goes by where I don't want to drive my car off a cliff on the way to my job, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to start ebay auctioning/wholesaing or ANY good advice as to how to get started in the right direction of supplemental income?

I know this topic has probably been covered, but any fresh ideas/experience is much appreciated.

The ebay part is the easy part, its the other parts of yoru business that u need to sort out, for example what your gonna sell, where are u gonna buy it from for wholesale price or less, how much will it cost u total and how much u can sell it for and still make profit, how to compete with others selling this product online, how to deal with shipping, ebay does give some shipping options sometimes but u have to have something figured out like a daily pickup by the mailman.

For many common things like supplements and so on there are so many ebay stores already and prices vary from retail to wholesale to even a few people selling very suspiciously cheap but u get the product and it expires if u dont use it in like a week!!

But also there are many many many ideas that have still not been explored, sit down and ask yourself about what u would like to see online that would sell and i'm sure u can come up with it. I know a guy who sells baseball caps in england, apparently theyre not easy to come by there, or Levi's jeans which are also expensive in england, so he has a buddy in the states deal with a wholesale store and ship them to england whenever there is an order, they arent making millions but they are making good extra income.

I read somewhere that the most successful people in the world dont trade time for money, they trade value for money.
Like most people wake up, go to thier job, listen to thier boss (boss is derived from the word master fyi) and are basically conditioned robots thinking what they're doing is secure and the safest way to make money.

People who know how to make money are people who get paid when they're NOT working. Business owners, entrepeurs, etc. These people set up systems where they have refined a specific value and offered it to other ppl 24/7.

You make money when you sleep, when you shit, ANYWHERE. This a writing about this somewhere thats real good, let me see if I can find the link but it will make 90% of people on this board feel like complete failures, still a great read nonetheless.

Bo has some really good points but I would like to know if he actually runs a business? You work alot harder owning your own business

I guess thats like rental income from multiple properties, investments.

I know someone like that.

i sold a few things on ebay...but ive bought way more stuff. i sold ww II knives and bayonets that i had several of. but it takes a lot of your time. ie: you got to take pics, answer questions, get it mailed, go get money order cashed, etc. also ebay nickels and dimes you to death. and i dont use pay-pal!
