a strange thread for sure. Why do so many people seem to be struggling with mavs intentions? he explained in his opening post exactly what the crack was here, his reasons for wanting to leave, his reasons for addressing these issues publicly. OK, i agree, he seems rather paranoid about being found out online when he has no pictures on here, but also, someone addressed this earlier, its not just that, he DOESNT like the fact that he is a member and regular user of a forum which now promotes porn. How hard is it to understand?

I understand. I'm not trying to cause an issue. But it really is being judged. AAS is illegal porn isn't. Its just against their morals or beliefs. So i would consider that judging.

I respect your convictions, but I don't understand why you would need to be banned. It seems to me if you remove your pictures, then just stop posting, even if someone from your church happens to see the board (although I don't see why they would) and recognizes somehow who you are, you could simply state that you left this board because of the porn, and the dates would coincide.

sorry to see u go mavs, i understand wat ur saying exactly. u know what u need to do and thats all good.im with those that thinks the porn needs to go.that is one of the main reasons i chose this board in the first place, it was cleaner and u didnt have to be wary of pornographic avys. i spend most of my time on here in my family rm with my family around and even before the changes i felt uncomfortable with some of the avys, now they r just getting worse. if it continues to dergrade i'll probably have to cut it off as well as my kids r always poppin in and out and around and its kinda hard to explain why they cant look at the screen cause its got a half naked woman on there. now most of u dont see a problem with it but i do and thats my perogative to find it inappropriate just as its yours to be ok with it. anyway i hope admin see's all the resistance to the porn and kills it, this board has not been improved by the addition of it, in fact respected members r very against and 1 is leaving.anyway no one would cry if i left or quit posting but maybee if enough people protest something will happen.
