Linux is a different operating system, like windows, or mac os. It's more than just a 'browser' its the entire system your computer operates on. Some love it, others hate it. It's personal preference

I got the Virus last week. Ended up buying the Macafee remote virus removal product. Spent seven hours total on-line with their support people. Product is designed to run in safe mode. Could not get DOS command prompt to work. Keyboard and moouse would not respond in safe mode. Ended up running scan product in normal mode. this cleaned up computer enough to enable DOS command in safe mode. Ran Macafee virus remover in safe mode and cleaned problem up. Good Luck Bad Trojan.

I got rid of mcafee that my computer came with and use AVG free edition. It is the best virus protection out. check it out at download.com if anyone needs it.
