there is no way on earth you could maintain that size on a low cal diet of "shakes and black cofee" whether he was diabetic or not, the dude simply ate too much.

Yowza.
Unfortunately, we Americans are the fattest people, generally speaking, in the world. You never see Europeans so fat they need to ride down the sidewalk on little motorized scooters, like you see in the U.S. of A.
Even really "fat" Germans or Englishmen would be considered within normal suburban standards in the United States.

Nutrition counts alot for losing weight, but he didnt really have a metabolism anymore. He couldn't do any cardio, had probably no muscle mass, and he had diabetes. He was one victim of nature's sadistic humor.
