bad shops for gear
not going to mention any names but woudl it not be beneficial to EVERYONE if we were allowed to compile a list of known scammers out there???? why should this be a problem....just shops to avoid

that is the kind of thing you would get on an open board, not here....
there are plenty of boards you could join that have this though.

fair enough but i like this board and it seems to be the best i am just wondering waht the problem would be with doing this

That is why it is done through PM's and through the Vets/mods that can do a background check to see IF in fact the source IS scamming or even help clear things up if the source is NOT scamming.
Then the Vets/mods that DO source checks can relay that information if someone asks about that particular source
It is actually a good system to handle things. Too many members could get hot headed if they think they were scammed and get on here ranting when maybe it was just a misunderstanding.
