Calling all CO's/Prison guards?

If I have a old minor drug charge that was expunged by pre trial intervention can I still get a job as a prison guard?

any job related with the gov or county i think is screwed when it comes to drug charges.

If it was expunged, doesnt that mean wiped off your record?

Yes but if the government wants to dig up your past I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for them.

When I got a job as a prison guard it was 7 months and 3 interviews later that I actualy started working. I have no clue as to how extensive the background check was. Some of the guys say its pretty extensive though. The best thing to do would be just call and ask. I only stayed a guard for 1 year though, then I got a job running the kitchen at the youth facility.
