    burning cd's

    I downloaded musci with lime wire. And i'm burnuing them with windows media player. The songs are in mp3 form and my car wont play them. Is there way to convert them and burn them normally

    my buddy put it on my comp and it converts them to win files. i think

    yea if converting to wav doesnt work...
    i know in my old yukon it wouldnt play certain brands of cds, i think one was memorex. so try a dif brand. also try using only cd-r not cd-rw.

    Make sure that you finalize the cd at the end. I've seen that affect how cd's play in cars.

    limewire has a setting that does it for u i think, i also have limewire

    There should be an option on your cd burner application to covert the songs to various formats available.
    Default from limewire is all mp3s

    Well, you either have to convert the file type before you burn the cd, or you have to have a cd player / head unit that is mp3/wma file compatible,

    OHHH!!!
    like the one i have for sale! $60 + shipping, in box, remote, mounting cage,, etc.. just like brand new perfect condition.

    You can configure win Media Player to automatically convert them for you. I think it's in Tools. You will only be able to put about 10-12 songs per cd as a result.

    Just use nero.
