Surviving that into childhood I would not call lucky. That is terrible for that poor baby. I don't know too much about the disease but does it cause the child any discomfort or is it just a huge physical deformity? Had to turn off after 30 seconds.

Yes it is painful. Imagine your skin drying out so bad it starts to crack and cause cuts all over your body that you see on that babies body.

I think some of the comments with regards to this child are in very bad taste and show these people for what they are. Having a child with any disability or condition just shows a parents unconditional love for them and parents who have children less fortunate deserve my upmost respect.
Sorry, i'm on a rant but my partner is expecting our first child and i guess it puts a different light on how i feel
