Alcohol use while on Gear: Source inquiry

I know the rule of thumb is no beer and gear but can anyone link me to any articles related to this. I'm off cycle and I'm not sure how long it's been. I've been drinking the brews - about a six pack now 4 days in a row. I do feel some pressure in my lower back - of course, it may have nothing to do with beer and gear but on the other hand......I'd like to learn more about this. Thanks!

Depends on what gear, are you using orals?

I agree with that in regards to alcohol at least. I enjoy having a couple drinks periodically and it doesn't hinder my gains or having any negative impact on my health. Having a beer on a patio or a glass of wine with your dinner isn't going to harm you unless your single beer or glass turn into quite a few.

yup. on a side note, red wine has been proven to have positive health benefits in moderation ( ie 1 glass with dinner here and there)

Red wine especially, but I think they've shown that any alcohol will do...even just a Vodka tonic is supposed to have health benifits.

That being said, I still wouldn't dare touch any if I was taking an oral such as Drol, Dbol or Methyltest.

Not proud of it, but when I was 21 I was taking DBOL (60mgs ed) along with some other compounds and getting WASTED quite a bit and my blood test results came back fine 3months after getting off...That being said I do not recommend anyone do that, as I was young and stupid at the time!!

It might have been because you were so young. I wasn't too much older than you (25) when I had an LFT done by my clinic. I was on 100mgs/day Drol and it can back with ALT/AST levels double and triple the normal. The doctor told me she was going to recheck it in two weeks so I stopped the drol immediately. The second LFT came back normal. I hadn't touched alcohol in a few months before that

I agree that it's best to take the safe guess and not drink while on gear. I was in the process of coming off gear (not orals) and I drank quite a bit. Not all at once but maybe a 6 pack within an hour. That's gotta be a strain on the liver. Hopefully not too much. I did do a search under "alcohol" and nothing of relevance popped up. I'd love to find a detailed article on the issue but no luck so far.

What you dont realize is that alot of bb-ers do a lot more damge with gear and no beer. Moderation is the key to both.

There are a lot of bb's that do things much worse then beer.

Everyone is dif. But for the most part i think most people are over reacting to the gear and beer being a problem

Beer and alcohol just arnt conducive to training...but it is hard when normaly I drink with friends on weekends and they become suspicious as soon as I say no since they do know what up. I really have no problem facking the drinking...diet coke straight up...girl orders it for me:-) But once month I might have 3-4 beers in one night.
Does the alcohol actually destroy all of the built up test in my system?
If it destroys it, then it's not worth even a couple once in a long while, you know. But as far as maximum results none is best I know so please let that be
