    Who knows about cell phones?

I have T-Mobile and back in June I added my daughter to my plan and got her the pink Razr she always wanted. Well I don't have any major complaints about my service but hers sucks. She lives with her mom about 20 minutes south of me and she gets no signal. She has trouble making calls and her mom can't get through to her half the time. The other kids are making fun of her for having T-Mobile. This pisses me off. She's on her third phone cause the company thinks that will help. Do I have any recourse when they aren't providing adequate service?

i know that i have verizon and there is a code that i can call (something Like *xxx) when i get bad service. It relocates my phone to the nearest tower. I havent heard many good things about t-mobile, but some places just dont get good reception.

different phones wont help, only thing she could do with tmobile is get one of their phones that auto hooks up to a wireless router if her mom has one at their house for internet. then the phone works through the internet at the house, but anywhere else it will still get a regular bad signal. if i were u i would go get a signal map from tmobile, sprint, at&t and verizon and see which one is best for ur area. if she cant get a signal then theres no way they can continue to obligate u to ur contract.

tmobile gave me the same problem. I would say try verizon or at&T. Sprint are ass holes.

If you dont have a contract then cancel. Try doing a manual network search.

Verizon really sucked when I had it. I had constant dropped calls, calls that wouldn't go through. It was ridiculous so I paid the cancellation fee. I know I have at least a 1 year contract with T-Mobile. I can't even imagine the hassle they are gonna give me to get out of it. They're gonna want a cancellation fee too I'm sure.

contracts definetly have their ups and downs, it sounds like its worse there in the states than here in canada, considering we have a smaller amount of carriers.

Why not go with Pre-pay? Don't like the service, try another one
