Will working in an indian restaurant make you stink of spices permanently?? i hope showers will get rid of the smell but indian foods smell is pretty strong...im might start working in an indian restaurant for some extra cash cause my friend can hook me up but i dunno cause of the smell

If your personal hygiene is in check and you just work there, you will not smell... but if you eat the spices everyday, then thats another story, the smell emanates from your sweat

yea of course my personal hygiene is in check and i'll be making sure i take a shower after every shift but im still scared the smell will stay on me

you sure thats true? because i do like the food so i'll be eating every shift..cause i eat indian food like every second day and i smell good even when i sweat i dont stink bad..the only thing im scared of is if i stay in the smell for hours that it'll stay on me haha

Being exposed to it won't make you smell aside from your clothes and hair but that washes right off. Now, if you are consuming tons of the food then your sweat, piss and shit will all smell of it. EVeryone thinks that you will smell like Apu but the reason they smell at times is because they do not bathe as often as western civization. Where they are from water is rationed and that means no shower today, and probably not tomorrow as well.
